2nd Shift CNC / Manual Machinist
Pay: $23–$28/hour DOE
Schedule: Second Shift | 2:15 p.m. – 12:45 a.m.
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Tulsa, OK


2nd Shift CNC / Manual Machinist – Must-Have Requirements

  • 3–5+ years machining experience (CNC and manual required)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop travelers
  • Experience with G-code edits and basic program adjustments
  • Strong experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Experience machining carbon steel
  • Ability to work independently on second shift
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a shop environment

2nd Shift CNC / Manual Machinist – Position Summary

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision machined parts
  • Perform program edits, adjustments, and troubleshooting as needed
  • Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Support production goals in a fast-paced machining environment
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and organized shop operations

2nd Shift CNC / Manual Machinist – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and run CNC and manual machine tools
  • Perform basic G-code edits, step changes, and program adjustments
  • Operate equipment including Haas, Flex CNC, Toshiba, Daewoo, Puma CNC, Bridgeport, and Poreba machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers
  • Measure and inspect parts using precision tools to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain production standards, quality, and safety requirements
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleanup
  • Communicate tooling, production, and quality issues to supervisors
  • Support overtime and production needs as required
  • Maintain clean and organized work area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

2nd Shift CNC / Manual Machinist – Additional Qualifications

  • Strong machining setup and troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds
  • Experience in carbon steel machining environments preferred
  • Familiarity with multiple CNC machine platforms a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
