Responsibilities
Research order and maintain necessary supplies to support assigned work and projects.
Uses basic mechanics tools, wrenches, ratchets, sockets, hack saw, tape measure, and screwdriver.
Performs basic operations of major pieces of plant equipment.
Uses basic mechanical skills to identify and correct minor mechanical issues with equipment.
Performs stick welding and uses cutting torch.
Understands and interprets basic drawings or sketches.
Uses basic electrical troubleshooting skills to identify and correct minor electrical issues with equipment.
Uses voltmeter to perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
Understands the basic principles of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Understands basic lubrication principles.
Understands and operates electric and LPG gas forklifts.
Correctly completes work order forms.
Correctly completes inventory forms.
Follows 5S and safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
Able to read measuring devices.
A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use job-appropriate tools.
Proficiency in investigating, deducing, and recommending corrective actions for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems required.
Education and Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Trade or Technical school training preferred.
