Job Summary:

Windsor Windows & Doors has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician at our Norwalk plant. The Maintenance Technician must be able to set up, operate and perform mechanical repair of all production equipment and understand the equipment's purpose. This individual must be able to problem solve and understand how the equipment operates.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, set up, adjust, and operate production equipment using diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operator PMs on all production equipment per schedule.
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance duties on production equipment.
  • Respond to requests to address and diagnose operational, quality, and/or mechanical problems when equipment is not operating properly.
  • Complete paperwork and documentation per the requirements of the management team
  • Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning operating problems regarding equipment.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude
  • Experience with industrial controls
  • Previous experience
