As an Industrial Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial machinery. You'll work closely with your team to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and optimize equipment performancehelping keep production running safely and efficiently.
What Youll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment to reduce downtime and maximize productivity.
- Conducting preventive maintenance on motors, drives, belts, pumps, and other mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Lubricating, adjusting, aligning, and cleaning machinery to maintain peak performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement devices to replace or repair machine components safely.
- Fabricating or modifying machine parts using cutting, welding, and assembly techniques to support ongoing repairs.
- Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to accurately execute maintenance tasks.
- Installing and repairing industrial electrical wiring and components to enhance equipment functionality.
- Testing machinery to verify proper operation before returning equipment to production.
- Documenting maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs through SAP or similar systems for accuracy and accountability.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, keeping safety standards at the forefront.
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Journeyman Electrical License or equivalent certification.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with shop math.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology.
- Advanced licenses such as Boiler Operator or Master Electrician.
- Experience with material control and spare parts management.
- A proven safety record, excellent attendance, and high performance.
