Manufacturing Engineer As a Manufacturing Engineer at Trane Technologies, you will develop, implement, and maintain production processes to drive quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of our manufacturing operations.Responsibilities Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for new product introductions and product enhancement programs utilizing DFM/DFA, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma, and other advanced engineering techniques.Manage capital planning, CER creation and approvals, project timing, and implementation, as well as capital spending and budgeting.Lead plant VA/VE initiatives and ensure all equipment is OSHA compliant.Apply engineering principles and discipline through mentoring, training, and project reviews, including PFMEA, APQP, DCP, Lean tools, project management, and simultaneous engineering.Develop and enforce manufacturing standards such as machine capability, process maps, set‑ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.Coordinate cross‑functional communication, reporting, and conflict resolution with both technical and non‑technical teams.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering.At least 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.Experience with Lean principles and techniques including visual management, Kaizen, value stream mapping, cycle time reduction, SMED, 5S, and Kanban.Analytical ability to link operational performance to financial results.Knowledge of PLC programming and automation is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project) and 2D/3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Pro‑E).Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Benefits Health insurance and holistic wellness programs.Family building benefits such as fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance.401(k) plan with company match up to 8%.Paid time off: 15 vacation days, 9 paid holidays, 3 floating holidays, sick leave, and additional options for volunteer and parental leave.Educational and training opportunities, tuition assistance, and student debt support.Equal Employment Opportunity We are an equal‑opportunity employer and provide reasonable accommodations to candidates who need assistance.
