2nd Shift Material Handler/Forklift

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Material Handlers in Denton, TX. This position is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility, supplying production lines, loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are staged accurately for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay rate starts at $17/hour and can increase based on experience. Second shift available: 3:30pm to 12am, Monday through Friday, with the potential for overtime.
Responsibilities of the Material Handler

• Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines with materials to ensure continuous workflow.
• Stage materials for production and shipping according to work orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (if certified).
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
• Prepare materials for shipment, including labeling, wrapping, and palletizing.
• Maintain accurate inventory by organizing and storing materials in designated locations.
• Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory control, and other warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications of the Material Handler

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read work orders and shipping documents.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
