Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday
Hours: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Pay: $17.75 per hour

Position Overview
The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, storing, and distributing materials throughout the facility while supporting shipping and warehouse operations. This role requires operating a sit-down forklift, handling large materials, verifying inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
- Move large materials weighing between 2,500 and 5,000 pounds
- Load, unload, stage, and organize materials for production and shipping
- Count, verify, and inspect incoming and outgoing materials
- Perform basic data entry and maintain inventory records
- Use measuring tapes to verify dimensions and material specifications
- Support shipping operations during the 2nd shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
- Assist in other warehouse and production functions as needed
QualificationsRequired
- 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience preferred
- Ability to safely handle large and heavy materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift
- Basic math and counting skills
- Experience verifying inventory and material counts
- Comfortable with basic computer and data entry tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience operating sideloader forklifts
- Experience using calipers and precision measuring tools
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping experience
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting
- Operation of narrow sideloader equipment in tight spaces
- Active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and material movement throughout the shift
- Strict safety-focused environment
- No cell phones permitted during working hours
Dress Code & Requirements
- Steel-toe boots required
- Jeans or Dickies work pants permitted
- Short-sleeve work shirts allowed
- No shorts
- Valid government-issued ID required for facility access and security check-in
