Job description:
Pay: $16-18/hour Shift: 330pm - 4am Mon-Thurs Additional Overtime: Voluntary OT on Friday, up to 5 hours Lunch: 30-minute unpaid
Looking for Material Handlers! Staffing Inc is hiring 1st shift Material Handlers.. Great opportunity for hands-on manufacturing experience in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications.
Complete Progress report - identify the job and the starting time
Review the Work Order for special instructions
Assure the set-up is correct for the job
Assure the station layout, tags and labels are appropriate for the job
Complete Sign-Off check list and have it signed by the appropriate person
Inspect parts - assure patents and margins are correct with no blotches
Perform hand manipulation when required - peeling waste off the part
Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
Set and verify parts clearances.
Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments such as punch box or templates.
Cut trim parts for assembly.
Examine completed workpieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces.
Set up, operate, or tend machines to slit or punch material.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
Reliable and detail-oriented
Must Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
Must have reliable transportation, not including bus line
Physical Demands:
This position involves sitting for long periods of time
Lifting capability of up to 25-50 lbs.
Constant upper body movement, including use of arms and hands, bending and twisting.
