Material Handler – 2nd Shift
$20.00/Hour | Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM–2:00 AM
Job Summary
We are currently hiring Material Handlers for a busy plastic rotational molding facility. This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for keeping production running efficiently by delivering molds, raw materials, tools, and finished products to the appropriate work areas.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a hot, humid, and physically demanding manufacturing environment. Forklift experience is a plus.

- 4:00 PM–2:00 AM
- $20.00/hour
- 4-day workweek
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift and follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Provide production workstations with molds, raw materials, tools, and other necessary supplies.
- Review production priorities and ensure materials are available when needed.
- Retrieve, maintain, and properly store customer molds.
- Maintain accurate mold and fixture logs.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing molds and products for quality and conformance.
- Ensure all required information, materials, and tools are in place before production begins.
- Retrieve molded products from machines and transport them to trimming, assembly, or designated staging areas.
- Properly stage finished products and ensure products remain correctly identified throughout the production process.
- Maintain equipment and supplies needed for molding machines.
- Deliver additional materials and items to molding machines as needed.
- Use hand and power tools as required.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Handle customer products carefully to prevent damage.
- Perform general material handling and production support duties as assigned.
Additional 2nd Shift Duties
- Operate the cardboard baler to clear cardboard each night.
- Empty garbage each night.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Assist with secondary production duties and support other areas of the molding operation as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain standing/stationary with intermittent walking throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to transport materials up to approximately 20 feet.
- Frequently bend, maneuver, and position yourself around large parts while performing finishing and material handling tasks.
- Ability to frequently operate hand and air-powered tools.
Working Environment
This is a hands-on manufacturing environment that can be hot and humid for extended periods of time. Employees may work around:
