Responsibilities:

As a Consulting 2nd Shift Material Handler, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Unloading, uncrating, unpacking, inspecting, counting, and weighing materials using forklifts or manual handling techniques.
  • Handling hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety policies and ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards.
  • Adhering to attendance, conduct, and safety requirements, demonstrating professionalism and dedication.
  • Managing data entry and file management tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting 2nd Shift Material Handler position should have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics roles.
  • Experience operating a forklift and handling hazardous materials (certification required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in data management and reporting.
  • Strong data entry and file management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Adherence to all company policies, including attendance, conduct, and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards is a plus.
