Shift: 1st or 2nd 

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, organizing, and supplying materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This position ensures that production areas have the necessary materials available while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, organized work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive, move, stage, and distribute raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Supply production lines with materials according to production schedules.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and designated storage areas.
  • Verify materials against work orders, labels, and production requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts, when authorized.
  • Properly label and organize materials in designated storage locations.
  • Remove finished products and excess materials from production areas.
  • Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
  • Inspect materials for damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies when handling materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and production area.
  • Communicate effectively with production, warehouse, and supervisory teams.
  • Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and established procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse, material handling, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, labels, and written instructions.
  • Basic computer and inventory system skills preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials.
  • Ability to lift up to [insert weight] lbs. as required.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and maneuver materials safely.
  • Must be able to follow proper lifting and material-handling techniques.
Safety & Quality:
The Material Handler is expected to follow all company safety requirements, maintain accurate material identification and inventory, and immediately report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
