From fabricating custom tooling to navigating first-angle vs. third-angle projections, we need a technician who understands the "why" behind every speed and feed. Responsibilities

• Ability to set up and operate Mazak, CNC, lathe machines and perform program edits, using Mazatrol programming language
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Write accurate, detailed set-up sheets and notes in programs, as required
• Adjust machines and tooling to maintain part accuracy and quality
• Demonstrate knowledge of tooling and insert specifications and be able to accurately recognize and differentiate tooling by sight
• Basic knowledge of machine shop math
• Proficient knowledge of inert identification and appropriate application and know grades, geometry, uses, identification numbers, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints correctly: Identify third angle from first angle projection, Identify machining from fabricating, and Identify all tolerances, datum's, surface finishes, metric and standard, section views call outs, details, and notes
• Fabrication of tooling, as needed, for production and creation of prints that specify what types of tooling are needed including size, shape, and material
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Responsible for achieving a quality level of 0 non-conformance occurrences per year
• Communicate with machine partner effectively
• Must be willing/able to work overtime to complete project and meet scheduling deadlines
• Must be detail oriented with a strong commitment to quality
• Must be safety conscious
