And more!Join a team that values your well-being both in and out of the workplace.The Mill Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our aggregate Mill. This position includes performing maintenance, operating equipment, loading bulk trucks, and supporting daily production activities. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a variety of conditions and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mill equipment and systems.
Safely load bulk tank trucks and ensure accurate documentation of materials.
Operate machinery and heavy equipment, including skid steers and other mobile equipment.
Use hand and power tools to complete repairs, maintenance, and fabrication tasks.
Assist with facility upkeep, including tasks performed at elevated heights.
Work effectively in inclement weather and temperature extremes, both indoors and outdoors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
Support production as needed to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
Mill Operators Desired Qualifications:
Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Maintenance oriented with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Not afraid of heights and able to work safely in elevated areas.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Safety oriented, with a commitment to following proper procedures.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
Comfortable working in inclement temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
Ability to navigate tight areas
Rapid emergency egress
Climb ladders
Sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
