Operations Supervisor 2nd Shift
Location: Cudahy, WI
Schedule: MondayThursday | 2:30 PM 12:30 AM (Overtime on Fridays as needed)
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead second shift manufacturing operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while ensuring production goals are met. The ideal candidate enjoys leading from the manufacturing floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and continuously improving operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of hourly manufacturing employees.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery commitments are achieved.
- Promote a strong safety culture and maintain OSHA and company compliance.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve production challenges.
- Monitor production performance, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate operational results to leadership.
What you will bring:
- 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience leading hourly production employees.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety, quality, and production scheduling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
