Job Title: Package Processor
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential = $19.00/hour total
Schedule: Second shift - 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm (exact hours can be adjusted based on site needs)
Position Summary:
The Package Processor is responsible for verifying parcel orders, printing shipping labels, and completing basic paperwork to ensure accurate and timely processing of packages. This is a clerical/processing role and does not require forklift experience, but it does require basic computer skills similar to other mail or parcel processing roles that involve label creation and documentation.
Check and verify parcel orders for accuracy before processing.
Print shipping labels and ensure they are correctly applied to packages, which is a common duty in mail and order processing roles.
Complete basic paperwork and documentation related to parcel shipments.
Use a computer to look up orders, confirm information, and update simple records in the system.
Support general parcel flow on the second shift as needed (sorting, staging, and organizing packages).
Communicate with the on-site team or supervisor if there are issues with orders, labels, or paperwork.
