Shift Information
Steady 2nd Shift
Typical shift start time: 2:00 PM
Flexibility required based on operational and business demands
Travel between both plants required, as needed
Key Responsibilities
Lead safe and efficient operations across both facilities during 2nd shift
Supervise and support production employees and departmental operations
Promote a strong safety-first and quality-focused culture
Coordinate production activities and communicate effectively across departments
Troubleshoot operational, staffing, quality, and equipment-related issues
Support employee development through coaching, training, and cross-functional learning opportunities
Utilize manufacturing and business systems
Support customer requirements, shipping/dock activity, and production priorities
Escalate critical operational, safety, staffing, or customer concerns appropriately
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational support functions as needed
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience
Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
Strong technology and computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard hours when necessary
Preferred
Associate’s, Technical, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
Experience leading teams in a multi-department manufacturing environment
Prior experience in stamping, press operations, machining, or metal manufacturing environments preferred
