Our client in Natrona Heights, PA is looking for a 2nd Shift Plant Manager to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Lead safe and efficient operations across both facilities during 2nd shift
- Supervise and support production employees and departmental operations
- Promote a strong safety-first and quality-focused culture
- Coordinate production activities and communicate effectively across departments
- Troubleshoot operational, staffing, quality, and equipment-related issues
- Support employee development through coaching, training, and cross-functional learning opportunities
- Utilize manufacturing and business systems
- Support customer requirements, shipping/dock activity, and production priorities
- Escalate critical operational, safety, staffing, or customer concerns appropriately
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational support functions as needed
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
- Strong technology and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to support operational needs outside standard hours when necessary
- Associate"s, Technical, or Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Experience leading teams in a multi-department manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in stamping, press operations, machining, or metal manufacturing environments
