2nd Shift Pressweld Team Lead

Watteredge is looking for a dependable and experienced 2nd Shift Pressweld Team Lead to provide hands-on leadership to our Pressweld team. This role is ideal for someone with strong manufacturing experience who enjoys leading employees, solving production challenges, and working alongside the team to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support Pressweld employees throughout second shift.
• Coordinate daily production priorities and assign work to team members.
• Work hands-on with the team to keep production moving efficiently.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Pressweld equipment and processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Monitor quality and ensure finished products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Train and mentor employees on processes, equipment, quality, and safe work practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment, material, and production issues.
• Communicate production updates, concerns, and shift information to management.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve production issues.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing experience; Pressweld or related experience preferred.
• Previous team lead or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to use basic measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example while remaining actively involved in production.
• Dependable and able to work Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM.
