Penmac Staffing is hiring a Production Associate for a full-time 2nd shift opportunity with a Springfield-area manufacturer. If you have manufacturing experience, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, and are looking for a stable schedule, this could be a great fit for you.
Pay: $18.77/hour
Shift: Full-time, 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PMRequirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Previous manufacturing and/or forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds continuously
- Must be able to work with amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fine chemicals, and allergen products
- Must be able to wear a respirator in designated work areas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Prepare, produce, and package blend materials
- Screen, blend, and package a variety of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, including allergen-containing materials
- Clean and maintain warehouse areas and manufacturing equipment according to established procedures
- Perform material inspections and routine equipment maintenance
- Load and unload boxes and drums from transportation vehicles
- Collect retention samples in sterile conditions
- Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, sanitary work environment
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven manufacturing setting
