Job Description

2nd Shift Production Clerk Schedule: 2:30pm to 1:00am Monday through Thursday Pay: $19-$21 based on experience Looking for a vital role that keeps production running smoothly and efficiently? As a 2nd Shift Production Clerk, you will be the backbone of our daily operations—ensuring accurate data management, seamless reporting, and support across the production floor. If you're detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in manufacturing. What You'll Do: Support daily production activities through precise data entry and system management using Windows AX. Print and manage picking lists, release and complete work orders, and ensure all production documentation is accurate and complete. Track production outputs such as cases, eaches, and pounds; perform cycle counts; record machine speeds; and review discrepancies with leadership. Maintain and update end-of-shift reports in Excel for management review. Ensure proper product and material identification via lot and item codes. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize downtime. Communicate effectively across shifts, assisting with onboarding temporary employees during shift changes and breaks. Provide general support to the production team and management, completing tasks with minimal supervision.

Required Skills: Strong proficiency with Windows-based systems and basic Excel knowledge. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently. Good communication skills and team collaboration. Ability to troubleshoot system issues and adapt quickly to new processes. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Windows AX or similar ERP systems. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Basic understanding of production metrics and cycle counting. Familiarity with barcode scanning or product identification systems. Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus. Prior administrative or clerical experience is advantageous. Other Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be reliable, proactive, and willing to support team needs. No travel required.
