JBS is seeking an hourly Production Lead 2nd shiftTeam Member! Position starts at $24 per hour with a $1 shift differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.       Leadingateamofhourlyteammemberstoachievebusinessresults.

a.        Achievestargetsinasafeandefficientmanner.

b.       Coordinatesactivitieswithproduction,procurement,maintenance, warehouse,andqualitydepartmentstoachieveandsustainresults.

c.        Supportsteammembersbymaintainingavisiblepresenceonthe production floor.

d.       Maintainsanengagedandteam-orientedworkforce.

2.         ProvidesSupporttoCompanyPoliciesandProcedures.

a.        Createsanenvironmentthatexpressesconcernandconsistency toward all team members.

b.       Promotescooperationanddedicationtosuperiorworkmanship among all team members.

c.        Providestrainingforteammembersoncompanypolicies,rules, regulations and job specific duties and responsibilities.

d.       MonitorsandenforcesadherencetoGMP’sandspecifications.

Maintainshighlevelsofsanitation,housekeepingandproductquality.

e.        Followdailyworkscheduleandreportsvariances.

f.        Encouragesbestuseofenergyandresourceswithminimalwaste.

3.       Mayassumeotherdutiesasassigned.

Qualifications

• HighSchooldiplomaorequivalentrequired.
• FamiliarwithGoodManufacturingPractices(GMP)andHazardedAnalysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs. SQF, GMP, and HACCP certification a plus.
• Mustbeabletomotivateadiverseworkforceandleadbyexample.Mustbe able to coach, train, and take corrective action, including discipline, when appropriate.
• Mustdemonstratecriticalthinkingskillsandpossessaproblem-solving mentality.
• ProficiencyinMicrosoftOfficesuite
• Abilitytospeak,read,andwriteEnglish
•   Goodverbalandwrittencommunicationskills
•   Bilingual(Spanish)preferred
•   Goodmathskills
