The Production Operator supports manufacturing processes by operating industrial mixing and converting equipment used in the production of prepreg and adhesive products. This role is responsible for equipment setup, operation, and cleaning while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.
Full-time
Monday–Friday (shift varies based on role)
Weekend work may be required based on business needs
Follow all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) for chemical handling and industrial equipment
Operate, set up, and clean industrial mixing and converting equipment
Perform tasks assigned by Lead Operator or Supervisor to meet production schedules
Maintain adherence to quality standards, operating procedures, and work instructions
Identify and report quality issues or defects to leadership and support corrective actions
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process updates
Support team operations to meet productivity and performance goals
Operator level is assigned based on experience, training, and demonstrated competency.
Operator C (Entry Level):
Performs tasks under direct supervision
Limited to single work cell
Completing initial training
Operator B:
Fully competent in assigned operations
Cross-trained across multiple work cells
Able to work with minimal supervision
Operator A:
Meets all Operator B requirements
Trained in Lead Operator functions
Serves as backup to Lead Operator
