They are seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations, develop production employees, and drive safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
As the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise production employees during 2nd shift manufacturing operations
- Coordinate fabrication and processing activities to meet production schedules
- Ensure employees have the training, equipment, and resources needed for success
- Drive productivity, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining a safe work environment
- Monitor key production metrics, labor efficiency, material usage, and overtime costs
- Coach, mentor, evaluate, and develop team members through effective performance management
- Promote employee engagement and accountability throughout the production team
- Lead 5S initiatives and support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs
- Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve manufacturing efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and other departments to achieve operational goals
- Support customer expectations for quality, delivery, inventory, and cost performance
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturing procedures
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader who can build strong teams while driving operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 3+ years of production leadership experience
- Previous experience supervising employees in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
- Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, and performance management skills
- Experience managing production schedules, productivity, quality, safety, and operational KPIs
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, labor planning, material control, and cost management
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience working within AS9100 quality systems
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing initiatives, Kaizen events, and operational excellence programs
