The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all production activities meet safety, quality, regulatory, and productivity standards while supporting plant trials and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on leadership role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires flexibility to support weekend or holiday operations as needed.
Responsibilities
Lead 2nd shift liquid production operations, supervising 12–25 employees and executing daily production plans
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Troubleshoot equipment, materials, and staffing issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve performance, and support operational goals
Coach, train, and develop team members, supporting onboarding and performance management
Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D to support operations and plant trials
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility
Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations
Experience in liquid or thermal food processing preferred
Strong problem-solving, communication, and hands-on leadership skills
Flexibility to support weekend or holiday operations as needed
