Job Summary:
  • A growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day production operations and drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing shift activities, supporting frontline teams, maintaining operational standards, and identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and overall efficiency.

Job Duties:
  • Lead and support shift operations to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production employees while reinforcing company expectations, procedures, and workplace standards.
  • Monitor and improve key production metrics including labor utilization, operational efficiency, waste reduction, and throughput performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, housekeeping, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation including attendance, labor scheduling, safety records, and operational reporting.
  • Partner with leadership to communicate operational updates and recommend improvements to processes, equipment, and workflow.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and at least 5 years of supervisory experience within an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in food or consumer packaged goods manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and operational best practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make sound operational decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
  • Flexibility to support varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as business needs require.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements.
