Client Overview:
Our client is an established manufacturing organization in the food and beverage industry. They are seeking a 2nd Shift QA Production Associate to support quality monitoring activities and help ensure products are manufactured in accordance with internal standards and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr - $24/hr
Additional quarterly incentive factory bonus

Position Overview:
The 2nd Shift QA Production Associate supports quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations by monitoring production processes, reviewing documentation, and performing inspections to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Additionally, the 2nd Shift QA Production Associate role partners closely with operations and technical teams to identify potential quality issues, assist with investigations, and support corrective actions when needed.

Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift QA Production Associate:
  • Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with established quality procedures and GMP requirements.
  • Perform routine inspections and testing of materials, in-process items, and finished products.
  • Review production documentation and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Support investigations related to process deviations or nonconforming materials and assist with identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal quality checks and participate in audits related to production processes, sanitation, and facility conditions.
  • Collect product or environmental samples and coordinate testing activities as part of quality monitoring programs.
  • Enter testing results, audit findings, and investigation outcomes into internal reporting systems.
  • Assist with calibration and verification of measurement equipment used in production operations.
  • Maintain quality control supplies and support general laboratory or inspection activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical teams to reinforce compliance with GMP and internal procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist with quality system development projects.
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements at all times.
Required Experience/Skills of the 2nd Shift QA Production Associate:
  • Prior experience in a quality, laboratory, or production support role.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other regulated production standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a production facility environment while wearing required safety equipment.
Preferred Experience/Skills of the 2nd Shift QA Production Associate:
  • Experience supporting quality assurance or quality control activities in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety in manufacturing.
Education Requirements of the 2nd Shift QA Production Associate:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal education.
