Quality Control Associate / Inspector - 2nd Shift

Full Onsite | Near Elmhurst, IL

Full-Time

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Training: 2-4 weeks on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect in-process and finished products to meet specifications
  • Perform precise measurements (down to 1/64 inch) using tools and gauges
  • Conduct tensile, seal strength, and visual inspections
  • Verify color accuracy and product consistency
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects to production teams
  • Complete quality records, labeling, and documentation accurately
  • Package finished goods for shipment
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and PPE requirements at all times
  • Safely test materials such as films, foils, and chemicals

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality control, inspection, or lab environments (preferred)
  • Ability to perform detailed, repetitive tasks with accuracy
  • Experience in fast-paced settings (manufacturing, production, food service, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable attendance and transportation
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom setting (PPE, no fragrances, no phone use)
  • High school diploma required (Associate degree a plus)

Work Environment

  • Cleanroom setting requiring PPE (including steel-toed shoes)
  • Seated work for extended periods performing detailed inspections
  • Team-oriented environment supporting healthcare product quality and safety

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $18.00/hr + 5% Shift Differential = $18.90/hr
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.80 - $18.80/hr.
