We are currently hiring for a quality control inspector at a medical device manufacturing company!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Inspector is primarily responsible for Quality Control testing and disposition activities related to raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, first articles and validations.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for start-up, in-process and final testing of materials (RM, WIP and FG) and disposition per approved customer and internal Vesta requirements.
- Performs testing and acceptance activities through interpretation of sampling plans, routers, blueprints, etc.
- Records data per Good Documentation Practices (GDP) on product routers and within electronic systems.
- Frequently utilizes rulers, calipers, fixtures, pull test apparatus, microscopes and on-contact vision systems for analysis.
- Communicates the status of inspection activities as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication and effective human interaction skills.
- Flexible to change, and possess a high degree level of integrity and “can do attitude”.
- Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
- Able to run sampling tables and associated calculations.
- Able to use various measurement devices.
- Must have a high school diploma/GED
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
