Job Description:

Salary: FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The pay range for this position is $22 - $24 per hour, but actual pay will vary depending upon a new hires experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Uses established methods to verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products
  • Performs calculations and makes blends to determine adjustments that may be required to ensure conformance
  • Keeps detailed records and communicates results in a timely manner
  • Enters test data into our SAP system
  • Files vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections in appropriate areas
  • Prepares laboratory reagents
  • Calibrates equipment
  • Files retain samples in appropriate holding areas
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills, flexibility in work, and collaborates with colleagues
  • Participates in general housekeeping including routine cleaning and maintenance
  • Performs other duties as requested by management

Work Schedule:

Second Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry is preferred
  • Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Laboratory experience is a plus
  • SAP computer system a plus
