Are you detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring product excellence? We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to uphold our commitment to manufacturing quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct meticulous inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify adherence to rigorous quality standards and specifications.
Perform visual and physical assessments along production lines, promptly identifying defects, inconsistencies, or deviations.
Review and approve product samples prior to mass production, ensuring readiness and compliance.
Collaborate closely with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues efficiently.
Monitor manufacturing processes to guarantee compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Document and report inspection findings accurately, including discrepancies and necessary corrective actions.
Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate product quality.
Maintain calibration and proper functioning of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
Support training and mentorship of new QC team members, fostering a culture of quality awareness.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and assist in implementing corrective and preventive measures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in quality control or manufacturing are desirable.
At least 2 years of experience as a QC Inspector in a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and testing methodologies.
Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Exceptional attention to detail coupled with analytical problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of industry safety regulations and standards.
