2nd Shift Quality Lab TechnicianWere hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Lab Technician for our specialty chemical manufacturer in
Stow, OH. If you have quality control experience in a lab setting and enjoy testing, documentation, and continuous improvement, we want to talk with you.
Youll work in a lab and in production to support quality assurance and control activities. This role helps ensure products meet specifications through testing, analysis, and smart problem-solving alongside Production and Product Development teams.

Hours- 2:00pm 10:30pm
- Monday Friday
Pay- $23.00 per hour
- Pay is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following established SOPs
- Prepare samples and conduct laboratory analyses
- Provide batch adjustments to get products up to QC specifications
- Assist with calibration and basic maintenance of lab equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
- Follow and support quality management systems and procedures
- Ensure proper documentation and data integrity within systems (e.g., ERP, MS Excel)
- Ensure traceability and proper handling of non-conforming materials
- Collaborate with Production and Product Development teams to resolve issues
Minimum Requirements- High school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Ability to work in a laboratory and manufacturing environment
- Basic math and data analysis skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and move materials as needed
- Experience with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
- Visual ability for detailed analytical work (close vision, depth perception, focus adjustment)
Nice to Have Skills- 13+ years of laboratory or quality control experience
- Experience in chemical manufacturing, pigments, or additives
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, UV-Vis, IC)
- Knowledge of quality systems, SPC, and Lean principles
Preferred Education and Experience- Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Science, Quality, or a related field
