We are hiring Plastic Welders for a growing manufacturing facility that produces industrial spill containment products and heavy-duty tarp materials.
This is a hands-on manufacturing role working with RF (radio frequency) welding machines to seal and form industrial tarp materials. This position is more similar to a machine or press operator role than traditional welding.
Responsibilities
- Operate RF welding machines to seal industrial tarp materials
- Feed and reposition material throughout the welding process
- Monitor machine operation and ensure proper seam formation
- Work with large tarp materials and multiple material layers
- Maintain production quality and follow safety procedures
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Work safely around heated equipment and machinery
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
? Standing for the duration of the shift
? Frequent handling and repositioning of large tarp materials
? Good upper body strength and manual dexterity required
? Ability to work in a warm manufacturing environment
? Comfortable working around heat-producing machinery
? Repetitive movement throughout the shift
Qualifications
? Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
? Plastics manufacturing experience is a plus
? Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on ability
? Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
? Strong attention to safety and detail
? Ability to work independently and stay productive
