We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join our food production team. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production equipment, tools, and work areas in compliance with company and regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, GMP).
Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces in food production areas
Follow and complete cleaning schedules and checklists
Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow proper procedures
Dismantle and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning
Remove trash, debris, and food waste
Complete sanitation documentation and logs accurately
Work with production and quality teams to ensure a safe, sanitary environment
Follow GMP, HACCP, and food safety guidelines at all times
Report any safety or maintenance issues immediately
Previous experience in sanitation or food manufacturing preferred
Knowledge of GMP, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold or wet environments
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
