2nd Shift - Sanitization Processor (Medical Devices)

Location: Irvine, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday (1:30pm-10:00pm)

Pay: $22/hour

Type: Long Term Temp to Hire

Ensures bioburden reduction of all lab and tissue processing aids, tools, and equipment in keeping with Microbiology, Regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tools received from lab - including washing, cleaning, and wrapping - for sanitization, per department procedures
• Support the ordering of solutions, moving carboys and containers to and from solution area to the lab
• Prepare tools and manufacturing aids for autoclave per department procedures or Engineering requests
• Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information
• On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a part time 4 hour work period
• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping

Skills:

• Additional Skills: 
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and carrying items by hand in an unrestricted manner for short distances
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to read, comprehend and speak English, along with good communication skills including giving and receiving feedback
• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines, as well as Microbiology standards
• Strict attention to detail and ability to comply with standards
• Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed instructions
• Work in a Team environment, primarily work within immediate work unit and with other departments as requested
