Job Title: Saw Operator

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Job Summary
Russel Metals is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Saw Operator to join our team in Suwanee, GA. This position is responsible for operating metal-cutting saw equipment, accurately processing customer orders, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities

• Operate band saws and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and process metal materials to customer requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, machine operator, or saw operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and stable work history.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus but not required.
