Description
Shift Supervisor – Manufacturing
2nd Shift | Direct Hire | Green Bay, WI Area
Our client, a reputable manufacturer in the Green Bay area, is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead production operations on 2nd shift. This is a direct-hire leadership role reporting to the Plant Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise hourly production employees
- Execute daily production schedules and meet output goals
- Ensure product quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Monitor performance metrics and report shift results
- Train, coach, and onboard new team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production floor
- Support inventory control and payroll for assigned shift
- Partner with HR on employee relations and disciplinary actions
- Respond to production issues and emergency situations
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience preferred
- Plastics injection molding experience strongly preferred
- Technical background in plastics manufacturing a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable using MS Office and manufacturing ERP systems (IQMS a plus)
- Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 70 lbs as needed
