Summary: The 2nd Shift Supervisor is the first point of contact for employees on 2nd shift. The 2nd shift supervisor will have the opportunity to lead and motivate a diverse group of talented employees engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture parts and/or products.
This position reports to the day-shift manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises up to 30 production employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance reviews; recognition, providing on-going constructive feedback; addressing complaints and problem resolution.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
