Electro-Mechanical Systems Repair/Maintenance Technician | 2nd Shift | Direct Hire


Location: Ashland, PA
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Pay: $25.24 – $28.80 per hour + DOE
Benefits: Full Benefits Package

Position Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced System Repair Technician  to join our Maintenance team on second shift. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems that support plant operations and production equipment. 
The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, a proactive maintenance mindset, and experience working in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair plant electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment using maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic/pneumatic drawings.
  • Repair and modify machinery, controls, communication systems, and electronic devices.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, lubrication, cleaning, and testing.
  • Plan, install, test, and troubleshoot electrical power distribution systems.
  • Complete mechanical assembly and disassembly of equipment and components.
  • Utilize diagnostic and testing equipment to identify and resolve equipment failures.
  • Maintain maintenance records, schematics, reports, parts lists, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with equipment improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives. 
    Provide guidance and direction to other maintenance personnel as needed.

QualificationsRequired

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience working with electro-mechanical and electronic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and technical manuals.

Experience troubleshooting and repairing:

  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Electronic controls
  • Industrial production equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Preferred

  • Foundry, manufacturing, steel, or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Experience with industrial controls and power distribution systems.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform moderately heavy physical work.
  • Ability to lift, move, and position equipment and components.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/foundry environment with exposure to heat, noise, dirt, grease, and moving equipment.
