2nd Shift Trim Press Setup and Run

As a Trim Press Setup and Run Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of trim press equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions. This role plays an important part in maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality production while supporting the overall success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate trim presses according to documented procedures and production requirements.

• Follow all established safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements, and maintain established 6S standards.

• Perform required quality inspections and accurately document product characteristics according to WIP tags, work instructions, and quality requirements.

• Monitor equipment and production processes for quality concerns, malfunctions, or operating difficulties and promptly report issues to the Group Leader and/or Supervisor.

• Take appropriate corrective action as directed to support safe and efficient trim press operations.

• Maintain accurate documentation of critical process variables in support of quality system requirements and process validation protocols.

• Maintain accurate production and operational records.

• Serve as a trainer and mentor to employees learning to operate trim presses, providing assistance and guidance as directed by the Group Leader and/or Supervisor.

• Perform additional duties as needed to support trim press operations and departmental objectives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to safely and effectively perform both the setup and operation of trim presses. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and safety, the ability to follow established procedures, and a willingness to support and train other team members.

Position Details:

• Shift: 2nd Shift

• Pay: Starting at $26.95/hour, progressing to $27.75/hour at 12 months

• Shift Premium: Additional $1.00/hour
