Freight Breakers LLC is currently hiring motivated and reliable team members for Box Loader/Unloader positions in West Jordan. This is a physically active role ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven by performance-based pay.
Job Overview
As part of our team, you will play a key role in efficiently moving freight in and out of trailers while maintaining accuracy and safety.
Loading Responsibilities:
- Hand-load boxes from a conveyor onto trailers (floor loading)
- Scan packages into the trailer using handheld devices
- Move cages to and from staging areas
- Ensure loads are organized, secure, and handled efficiently
Unloading Responsibilities:
- Unload boxes from trailers onto a conveyor system
- Scan packages and sort them into designated cages
- Maintain speed and accuracy in a high-volume workflow
Compensation:
- Paid per trailer / per case loaded or unloaded
- Average earnings: $16-$25 per hour
- Top performers can earn $25–$35 per hour
- The more efficiently you work, the more you earn
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
- 10-hour shifts (4-day work week)
- Occasional weekend work as needed
Requirements:
- Strong attendance and punctuality are essential
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to lift and carry 5–50 lbs consistently
- Capable of sustained physical activity for extended periods
- Reliable transportation required
