Pay: $19.50
Hours: 4:30pm-1am Sunday- Thursday plus overtime
The Stocker Will
- Move stock from the stocking aisles to the appropriate locations using hand carts or hand jacks
- Remove product from boxes, verify title and location, and place items on shelves in an orderly manner
- Break down boxes and packing materials
- Follow all safety guidelines and work safely in a warehouse environment
- Meet and maintain production standards while adapting to changing workflow demands
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Knowledge
- At least 6 months of consecutive work experience
- At least 6 months of work experience that included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, and typing/keyboard use
- Reading comprehension and writing skills up to a high school level
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to work independently or collaborate in a group environment
- Flexibility to multitask based on workflow demands
- Reliable attendance
Skills/Knowledge Preferred
- Prior warehouse, stocking, or distribution center experience
- Experience using hand carts, hand jacks, or pallet jacks
- Familiarity with inventory location systems or handheld scanners
- Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency
Physical Requirements
- Walk and stand continuously throughout the assigned shift
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs- 75lbs
- Push/pull up to 45 lbs. occasionally
- Grip/grasp continuously throughout the assigned shift
- Bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently
- Work in an environment with exposure to a wide range of temperatures
Essential Functions
Able to walk and stand continuously; bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, crawl, and reach above shoulder level; grip and grasp continuously; and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the assigned shift. Must be able to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, and learn in a fast-paced warehouse setting, and be available to work the designated shift, including overtime as required, which may include time before or after the shift and/or weekends.
