A warm and welcoming family in Newton is seeking a long-term, live-out, full-time Nanny to care for their two school-aged sons. Their older son is a bright, energetic, and charming 14-year-old with autism, ADHD, and some allergies, while their younger son is an active, kind, and easygoing 11-year-old. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced caregiver who enjoys working with older children, has experience supporting children with special needs, and is looking to build a long-term relationship with a thoughtful and appreciative family.
Requirements- At least 21 years old
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Pediatric CPR / First Aid certified
- 3+ years of professional childcare experience, including experience supporting children with special needs
- Up to date on COVID vaccination
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
Responsibilities- School pick-up and transportation to activities, appointments, and outings
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and encouraging community involvement
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Assisting with homework, school projects, and household responsibilities appropriate for their ages
- Helping establish structure, routines, and organization while remaining flexible to each child's individual needs
- Supporting the older child's unique developmental and social needs with patience, creativity, and encouragement
- Child-related tidying and organization

Position Details- Location: Newton, MA
- Schedule: Monday 3:00 PM-7:00 PM; Tuesday 3:00 PM-8:00 PM; Wednesday 2:00 PM-8:00 PM; Thursday 3:00 PM-8:00 PM (11:00 AM start on early release days); Friday 3:00 PM-7:00 PM. The family guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week and is looking for flexibility to work additional daytime hours during school vacations, holidays, and no-school days. Additional hours may also be available for the right candidate.

- Hourly Rate: $35-$40/hour BOE; taxes withheld
