SCHEDULE: Full time 40 hours Day shift LOCATION: Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA
Under the supervision of the Radiologist and according to established policies and procedures, performs and is efficient in 3D quantitative medical imaging. Performs quantitative image assessment that results in new or more cost-effective diagnostic approaches. Delivers valid, clinically relevant visualization of medial imaging data system-wide. Performs CT and MRI 3D reconstructions to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize customer satisfaction. Communicates professionally and effectively with all stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Minimally Required Education: Associates Degree
Minimally Required Experience: Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program in an AMA-approved school preferred. Must have the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Preferred Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications, is qualifying.
Skills/Competencies: 1 to 3 years experience in CT/MRI in an acute care setting. Technical skills in CT/MRI with an understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, 3-D post-processing, and Computer skills.
