This position is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. A manager will review each applicant s work experience to determine which position is best suited for their skills and experience. Please be prepared to speak about your previous work history during the interview. Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Safely stack, organize, and store materials in designated areas. Assist with inventory management by accurately recording material movements and stock levels. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace through general housekeeping duties. Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts or similar material-handling equipment required. Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary. Familiarity with inventory systems or basic record-keeping is a plus. Conocimiento de pr cticas y procedimientos de seguridad en almac n. Capacidad para levantar, cargar y mover objetos pesados seg n sea necesario. Atenci n al detalle y capacidad para seguir instrucciones correctamente. Buenas habilidades de comunicaci n y capacidad para trabajar en equipo. Disponibilidad para trabajar horarios flexibles y tiempo extra cuando sea necesario. Experiencia con sistemas de inventario o registros b sicos es una ventaja.
