About the Role

As Warehouse Manager, you own the floor.

You are responsible for running a safe, accurate, and high-throughput warehouse operation that supports a growing portfolio of cosmetic and beauty clients across multiple fulfillment channels. You lead the team, enforce processes, track performance, and drive continuous improvement every day.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be actively present on the floor—guiding execution, solving problems in real time, and building a team that consistently delivers.

You will work closely with operations leadership and coordinate through Slack and ShipHero to keep fulfillment aligned with demand. Success in this role is simple: the right product, to the right place, on time—every time—while building a team and operation that can scale beyond today’s volume.

We are looking for someone who has scaled a warehouse before, understands what “good” looks like, can quickly identify gaps, and has the drive to build what’s missing.


What You Will Do

Run Daily Operations

  • Own all warehouse functions end-to-end: inbound receiving, put-away, pick/pack, kitting, labeling, and outbound shipping
  • Ensure accurate, on-time fulfillment across DTC, B2B, Amazon (FBA/FBM), and TikTok Shop channels
  • Enforce EDI compliance, routing guides, ASNs, carton labeling, and packaging requirements to eliminate chargebacks
  • Manage platform-specific fulfillment requirements, including SLAs and compliance standards
  • Coordinate daily operations through Slack and ShipHero to align priorities and incoming volume
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and audit-ready facility at all times

Lead & Scale the Team

  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a bilingual (English/Spanish) warehouse team
  • Proactively plan staffing needs ahead of growth; support recruiting and onboarding
  • Build training programs and task certifications to ensure consistent performance
  • Manage scheduling, labor allocation, and workforce planning across multiple clients and demand cycles
  • Set clear expectations, provide consistent feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and pride
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish

Build & Improve Processes

  • Own ShipHero as the system of record; manage inventory, orders, and workflows across all accounts
  • Develop and maintain SOPs so operations run consistently, regardless of staffing
  • Establish and track KPIs: fill rate, on-time shipment, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and error rate
  • Lead root cause analysis on errors; implement permanent fixes and document improvements
  • Drive Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to eliminate waste and improve efficiency
  • Build dashboards and reports; bring data into every operational and leadership discussion
  • Continuously improve labor productivity, throughput, and operational performance

Protect Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GMP standards and FDA cosmetic handling requirements
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and shrinkage control
  • Manage lot and batch traceability across all products
  • Keep the facility prepared for audits, inspections, and operational reviews

What You Bring

Experience

  • 5+ years managing warehouse or fulfillment operations (3PL experience required)
  • Proven track record of scaling operations—higher volume, larger teams, stronger processes
  • Experience with cosmetic, beauty, personal care, or CPG fulfillment strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with ShipHero or a comparable WMS platform
  • Working knowledge of EDI, routing guides, ASNs, labeling, and chargeback compliance
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and TikTok Shop fulfillment
  • Experience managing both DTC and B2B fulfillment across multiple clients and SLAs

Skills

  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Proficient with Slack for team communication

  • Ability to write SOPs and build scalable training programs
  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies (Six Sigma a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • GMP experience in cosmetics, nutraceuticals, or pharmaceuticals (CM or 3PL environment)
  • Forklift certification and OSHA safety knowledge
