Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an endorsement covering 3rd Grade (Lower Elementary PK-3 / Code ZO, Upper Elementary 3-6 / Code ZP, or older K-5 All Subjects / Code ZG).
- Strong understanding of middle-childhood development, 3rd-grade foundational math concepts, and evidence-based literacy strategies aligned with Michigan's Read by Grade 3 law.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills, with experience utilizing PBIS or restorative practices .
- Ability to design engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences tied to the Michigan Academic Standards and prepare students for the M-STEP assessment.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
