Job Description:

Relationship & Culture Building: Establish a warm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the 3rd-grade professional learning community (PLC), and instructional coaches to plan aligned lessons, share best practices, and analyze student data to drive instruction.

Instructional Excellence: Deliver engaging, research-based instruction across core subjects (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies) that accommodates diverse learning styles and abilities.

Differentiated Support: Utilize small-group instruction and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) frameworks to provide targeted intervention and extension opportunities.

Family Partnership: Maintain proactive, positive, and consistent communication with families regarding student progress, celebrations, and growth areas.

Classroom Management: Implement positive behavioral interventions and support (PBIS) and social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies to help students develop self-regulation and conflict-resolution skills.
