The Third Grade Teacher provides high-quality, standards-based instruction that fosters academic achievement and social-emotional growth for all students. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned to Indiana Academic Standards; assessing student progress and using data to guide instruction and interventions; maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment; collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff; integrating technology and evidence-based literacy practices into daily instruction; and participating in professional development and school initiatives. Candidates must hold (or be eligible to obtain) a valid Indiana Elementary Generalist teaching license and demonstrate strong communication, classroom management, and instructional skills, along with a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of learners.
