Converting Operator- Tier Four

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 10:45 PM-7:00 AM

Location: Sussex, WI

We're looking for an experienced Converting Operator- Tier Four to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll take ownership of advanced converting equipment-setting it up, operating it, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring every product meets our high quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate converting machinery according to production specifications and safety standards
• Perform machine startups, shutdowns, and basic troubleshooting
• Monitor machine performance to ensure consistent quality and productivity
• Make adjustments to optimize machine efficiency and output
• Perform routine inspections and basic machine maintenance
• Complete quality checks in alignment with the Pregis Quality Management System
• Operate material-handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks, roll lifts, and hoists
• Accurately document production output, machine settings, and any issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Support team success by performing other duties as assigned

Training & Schedule

• Training will take place on 1st shift for the first few months to ensure hands-on learning, strong support, and a smooth transition into the role
• After training, shift placement will align with operational needs

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and safety protocols
• Basic math and computer skills
• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience
