Job Summary
The Assembler is responsible for assembling electronic components and wiring using hand and power tools. This role ensures quality, safety, and proper installation while working efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Assemble fixtures by mounting electronic components and installing them into larger assemblies or casings
Install electrical wiring and ensure proper connections
Test and troubleshoot equipment before it is placed into or returned to service
Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products by hand or using small tools
Use hand and power tools such as drills, crimpers, wire strippers, screws, bolts, rivets, and press-fit tools
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and security guidelines
Adhere to work instructions and quality standards
Learn and perform manual tool operations efficiently
Maintain strong attention to detail in all tasks
Collaborate effectively with team members
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
High school diploma or GED
Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Solid work ethic and sense of urgency
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly
Basic math skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Previous experience with electronics assembly
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Ability to read and understand English
